American experts introduce investment experience to Chinese entrepreneur
American Investment Forum, cohosted by Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, China Hand Organizing Committee and Economy and Information Department of China Council for Promotion of International Trade, was held in the auditorium of China Institute of International Studies on May 23rd, 2013. Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and Secretary-General of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, Mr. Li Zhaoxing, President of China Public Diplomacy Association, Mr. Ma Zhengang, Vice President of China Public Diplomacy Association, Mr. He Xiangdong, Counselor of North America Atlantic Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Wang Zhiguo, former Vice Chairman of ACFIC, Mr. Hanscom Smith, Minister-Counselor of American Embassy and other 150 guests attended this forum.
President Li Zhaoxing made a humorous and significant speech for encouraging Chinese enterprises to invest in America, complying with laws and regulations in China and US, paying attention to the principle of making friends, as well as concerning benefit orientation and pragmatic cooperation. American Minister-Counsellor Mr. Smith introduced American investment environment, put forward 5 favorable conditions for the investment and welcomed Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in America on behalf of US government.
Chinese and US experts in financing, law, PR and tax also attended this meeting to interact with Chinese entrepreneurs. They made extensive discussions on effects caused by China-US bilateral relations on world economy, reasons to invest in America, American investment opportunities, how to take use of PR resources and avoid legislation risks, commercial cultural difference of Chinese and US and tax planning for investment in US, etc.
Participants delivered their thanks to the host of this event and which more similar forums or symposiums can be organized in future, so as to help more Chinese enterprises go abroad.
